Emerald Surf City is owned and run by bodyboarders, for bodyboarders. Everyone who works in the shop is a keen bodyboarder.
Whenever there are decent waves, there is the chance that the shop will be shut, and the boys will be surfing. Here is a bit of info on the boys.
Des Govender
Dessie is the store owner, and has been surfing out the Island and all of the reefs up and down the East coast of Australia for about 20 years now, so you can be certain that when you come in to our shop to get new equipment, you know you are getting experienced advice.

Glen Sullivan
Whenever Sully isn't out chasing waves and competitions, he can usually be found helping out in and around Emerald. Sully is a cruisey guy, and will help out anyone he can, and being born and bred in the area, he is sure to be able to give you all the advice you need on equipment for the local area waves.

These two guys are the main guys that work in Emerald, but if one of them is sick, or can't work, you may see other faces working in the store. We would like to say cheers to all the groms that have helped us out, and continue to help us out in the shop whenever we need someone to work for us. You guys know who you are!
